You all won't know this woman, but she is, to me..one of the most beautiful people to ever have graced this planet with her presence. Her name is Carol Crosson. I call her Grandma.
A woman who held her head high, splashed with Chanel number five and gold jewelery. My mother tells me to this day, that my sense of fashion and trend comes from the genes passed on from my grandma. She left this earth many years ago, in 1998 , all the while leaving 3 daughters behind and a legacy of class and elegance in our family.
Inspiration comes from something you love, look up too, and it gives you strength. I couldn't post things like this if it weren't for her looking down on me. I miss her daily, and hope that I'm making her proud.
A funny little note, my grandma loved sunflowers, and somehow that love has traveled through-out my family. I plan on having a sunflower tattoo soon. My favorite picture of her, is the one below, from when my grandfather and grandma went on a vacation to Murtle beach, driving throughout towns, and passed a huge field. The field was filled with huge sunflowers, that went on as far as the eye could see. My grandpa automatically made her get out and take a photo. I love this picture. Everytime I see it I smile.
So, Grandma, this post is for you. I miss you. You will continue to inspire me everyday.
