I'd still pick my friends over you.
Have you ever seen a child on Christmas eve? SO excited, can't sleep, can barely even function properly from the excitement. Basically, that's how I've been for the last two days. Tonight, I'm lucky enough to go and see Tegan and Sara, and New Found Glory. And the headliner, of the whole tour, one of my favorite bands of all time..PARAMORE!
New Found Glory was one of the first bands that I ever listened to, back in like elementary school, when I went through my little punk rock phase. Although I'm not that little girl anymore, NFG continues to be the soundtrack to many car rides. Tegan and Sara is another group that I started listening to when I was younger. Their song monster was one of the songs that I would turn the volume all the way up too. I'm so excited to see All three of these groups.
I've been literally freaking out. Although, I've seen Paramore a couple of times..every single show they put on is like a new beginning. The atmosphere is insane, full of excitement. The crowd sings loud enough to break through the sound barrier. This show will most definitely be a highlight of my summer. Plus if you live in New York, or Long Island, you know the best place to see a show in the summer, is the Jones Beach amphitheater. Not only does the audience have theater seating, but a full view of the Atlantic ocean. If you haven't caught on yet, I'm so excited!
I decided to wear a grey, cowl-neck styled t shirt with studded plate shoulders, and black parachute shorts. I'm just going to wear flip flops, because that's the most comfortable shoe for a concert at the beach. I'm carrying my money, ID, phone and camera in a black and white checkered clutch that I bought at ULTA. For makeup, I'm wearing my basic foundation and blush, with thick black winged liner, and black mascara. My hair right now is down and natural, which is wavy...but I bet anything I'll decide to put it up.
I'll post after the show!
Happy Friday everyone!
- K.
