Someone like you.

This song may have been released a while ago, but it is the most incredible melody I've heard in a long time. It's good to know that you're not alone.

Who says?

One of my favorite songs right now is deffffffffinitly " Who Says" by Selena Gomez. If you've watched or heard this song you'll know it's a really beautiful song, that has a very inspiration message in every lyric

In the beginning of the video, her hair looks SO beautiful, and that's where this blog comes into play. That hairstyle is a easy, perfect, prom look!

Here's what you have to have to accomplish this look:
A one inch/ one and a half inch - curling iron.
Light hold hairspray
teasing comb
heat protect-er
bobby pins

And it's as simple as this...

Part your hair about 3/4th the way up from the back of your neck.
Tie off the top part, we're going to focus on the bottom for now.
Comb out the entire bottom and spray lightly with hairspray, and heat guard.
Wrap inch wide sections of hair around the barrel of the iron, with the tip pointing down. Hold the section on the barrel for a few seconds, depending on how much of a tight curl you want to achieve. After letting go, hold the curl in the palm of your hand for a few seconds, and release. Spray the curl with hairspray, and separate it from the rest of your hair. Continue this on the bottom section of your hair.

Next, for the top section. Separate sections in the front that you may want to leave down, such as your bangs. Take the entire parted section of hair and hold it up towards the ceiling. You're going to want to spray the back part of this section with hairspray, then tease from the root, about half way up. Let go of this section, and gently smooth over it, trying not to release the tease.Bobby pin the hair in the back, poofing the section up a bit. This will create the perfect half up, half down look. Take your curling iron, and with the barrel facing away from your face, curl the loose, front pieces.

Set the entire look with a quick spray of hairspray, and you're finished!
This look can take different amounts of time depending on the length and thickness of your hair, but overall it's very easy to achieve.
I hope everyone likes this look!

Happy birthday, Ginette.

I find it funny that these are the only pictures of us that I have saved on my computer and not on a social media site, Ginette. Oh well, that is beside the point.

Yesterday, was my best friends 18th birthday. I'm happy to say that I've had her at my side for the last five April 15th's. There's no one who loves anything/anyone more than this girl, and I'm proud to call her my other half. I hope that it was one of the best, and only that you have better years to come..
Now you can go buy scratch off tickets, you legal little thing.
I love you with all of my heart, Janet.
Happy Birthday!

Love always,
Rachel.
