Three Step Nude Lips!

For a while now, I've been trying pretty hard to put together the perfect combination of lip products to create the perfect nude lip. Mixing liners, with lipsticks and glosses.

The key, I found out..is simplicity! No need for stress, it's all in three steps!

*HINT: Make sure that the nude lipstick you choose for this look, goes well with your skin tone, and isn't completely nude, that it makes you look dead! Some lipsticks will completely conceal your lips, which isn't quite the look I went for.
I wanted to define my lips, while still being able to pull of the perfect nude.

So...How did I do it?

Step one: Moisturize your lips with a good, clear lip conditioner. I chose the Nivea A kiss of Moisture!

Apply this, or any product really well, all over lips. You want to make sure there are no cracks or bumps so that the finished product is smooth.

Step two: Choose your lipstick. I chose the Revlon ColorStay soft and smooth lipstick in the color 350 Smooth Nude. I have to be honest and say at first, I bought this product only because it fit perfectly in my makeup bag, instead of carrying around a regular sized lipstick. I fell in love!

Step three( optional ): Add a coat of nude gloss over lipstick. You want to use a nude gloss, just to tie together the look. A soft pink colored gloss could also go well over the lipstick, but for this look I chose to use the Urban Decay Pocket Rocket in the shade Kirk. Pocket Rockets are kind of expensive, retailing at about eighteen dollars, but a little of this gloss goes a long way, and it smells so good!

And the final product comes out like this!

Unlike me, make sure you wipe the edges around your lips to make sure the gloss stays defined. Just use a cotton swab and go around the outermost lines of your lips.

I hope you all enjoyed this little tutorial type post, let me know if you try it out!
KISSES~
