Update.

February is turning out to be coming in like a lion. A lot is changing for me, and it's really exciting. If you didn't know, over the summer it was like a war trying to find a job, simply because I had a car, but was not even aloud to touch it until I could pay for it. Finally, I got a job at a grocery store as a cashier, and worked my butt off pretty much. I was really happy and content, but I knew starting there and working for almost 9 months that I really did not want to stay there forever.
Within the last week, I was offered a job at Addictions, a company that sells Featherlock hair extensions, and heritage jewelry. I gratefully accepted it and started yesterday.



Also, if you didn't know...my entire junior year I was enrolled in Cosmetology classes. The only reason I didn't take them this year was because I needed the money, and no one was willing to hire me because I was at school til around 4:30 each day. I miss my girls from BOCES terribly, they are some of the most amazing people I'd ever met in my life. I took this job not knowing how long it would last, or who I'd be working with. Yesterday was great though. My manager is awesome. I put in a bunch of extensions yesterday, which was so exciting. Sooner or later my head is going to be full of these feathers. They're actually really cute.

Senior year is flying by, literally. Second semester just started and I began all new classes. It's kind of a joke though. I love my retail class, but my second period class...is all freshman. A freshman art class to be exact. I'm not too artistic. But whatever. Four period I work in the freshman office, and I love it. It's basically work experience in an office. I can't believe how fast this year is going.

Last, but most importantly..to me at least...my birthday is coming up really fast. I'll be 18 the 24th of this month. I'm so excited. I'm planning on getting a tattoo.
