Screen Actors Guild

The Sag awards was more than just actors and actresses nominated for awards for roles in movies that most people haven't seen yet. It's a time for beautiful dresses. Award season, here we go! From Louis to Prada, the carpet was flooded with beautiful people wearing beautiful things.Once again, here are the top fashion picks from the many amazing gowns that graced the runway January 30, 2011.

-Claire Danes in Louis Vuitton.

Although a bit casual for a black tie affair, I fell in love with this piece by Louis Vuitton. It fit Danes like a glove, and the colors went so well with her skin tone. Lovely.

-January Jones in Carolina Herrera.

I am infatuated with this dress. When I saw it come down the carpet I instantly fell in in love. So much different than what she did at the last catastrophe of an awards show. Classy and elegant. The neck line might have been hard to pull off, but with the sleeked back hair, I think it was perfect.

Mila Kunis in Alexander McQueen.

I loved the simple yet stunning aspect of this dress. The different reds blended perfectly, and I thought it went very well with her hair and skintone. I wouldn't expect any less of a gorgeous gown from the late Alexander McQueen.

Kelly Macdonald in Reem Acra.

Definitly one of the best looks at the SAG awards was this black sequined Reem Acra dress worn by Kelly Macdonald. Previous to the awards I never had heard of this designer, but now the fashion world is buzzing about Acra. I could understand why. I love this look, and I love even more so that she didn't try to over power it with chunky accessories. Beautiful.

Tina Fey in Oscar De La Renta.

A frequent flyer on the worst dressed list( and I hate to say that because I love her, but..), Tina Fey jumped straight onto the best dressed list in this Oscar de La Renta red gown. The complexity of the fabric paired with the simplicity of the earrings and hair deffinitly stole the show. Congrats Tina!

Hailee Steinfeld in Prada.

My favorite of the night. I have never seen someone look so beautiful and age appropriate at a show before like Steinfeld did at the SAG Awards. She should be so happy to know that no one else could have pulled off this Prada Mermaid gown. Fourteen and already rocking the carpet? Keep it up girl. Bravo!

What are your opinions from the red carpet? Let me know!
-K.
